 | Adina Segal biography Born in Baltimore and raised in Philadelphia, San Francisco resident Adina Segal holds degrees in photography from Washington University (BFA) and the School of Visual Arts in New York (MFA). She managed Silicon Gallery Fine Art Prints in Brooklyn, New York and was a visiting professor at New York University and The San Francisco Art Institute. Adina also holds a Masters in Education from the University of California, Berkeley and teaches third grade in San Francisco. She has worked extensively with children, photography, and literacy, and is focused on approaches to integrate photography within the public elementary school curriculum. In 2007, she produced an exhibition of her students' photographs and poems entitled, Here I Am, which was shown at MOCHA (The Museum of Children's Art)for the Youth Arts Festival and the Diamond District Library in Oakland. |  |  |
